We have recently introduced a new product: IndustrySpoiler. IndustrySpoiler provides for each industry a forecast of next quarter revenues, as well as aggregate scores of management comments regarding growth, cost and financial sentiment.
The chart below shows how forward-looking management comments regarding costs have evolved since 2007 for a selection of industries. A higher score is indicative of higher costs (as a percentage of revenue). These insights are useful for anyone following or forecasting industry performance. Besides cost we also track management comments on revenue and overall financial sentiment of management comments.
